Chivalry is not dead?! Ladies first...

"Jeremy and Victoria, you have declared your love for each other before God and this congregation. You have pledged that you will live together in Christian marriage, in the words of your promises and in the symbolism of the joining of hands and the giving of rings.  I therefore declare you to be husband and wife.  In the name of God, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.   Amen."

After the ceremony the bride and groom joyously walked out of the church.  Before departing they pulled on the bell rope to ring the church bell.  Forgetting to let go of the rope, Victoria went flying into the air.  But, even after a hard landing on her 3-inch heels, all was well.  After greeting their guests, the couple dashed down the church steps through a shower of rose petals and went for a ride around the village in the horse-drawn-carriage.
